A confirmation email will then be sent to inform you that you may now use the online platform.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><br style=\"font-weight: 400;\" \/><br style=\"font-weight: 400;\" \/><\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"h5\"><b>Obtain a school tax statement<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two options are available:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><b>Online<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, by yourself, through the online platform: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/tfp.cgtsim.qc.ca\/asp\/TFP.aspx?jlsid=1&amp;jlrun=tfpint.general.Accueil&amp;jlact=BTN_English\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Online school taxation (TFP)<\/span><\/a><b><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>By email<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*, by completing the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/staging-portail.cgtsim.qc.ca\/en\/school-tax-statement-request-notaries\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">School tax statement request <\/span><\/a>\u00a0f<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">orm.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>* <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fees apply. Please refer to the Agreement for full details.<\/span><\/i><\/em><\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/ol>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-heading\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-h3\" id=\"fees\"><strong>Fees<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-paragraph\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<p>The use of the school tax confirmation service is detailed in the <a href=\"https:\/\/staging-portail.cgtsim.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Convention-dinscription-et-dutilisation-des-donnees-relatives-a-la-taxe-scolaire.pdf\">School tax registration and data use agreement<\/a> (available in French only). However, here are a few key points to remember regarding billing.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-heading\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-h5\"><strong>The applicable fees are as follows:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-list\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>$40 for each data consultation and\/or retrieval of an electronic account statement from the online platform. (A second consultation of the same file is available at no additional charge within 30 days following the initial request.)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$50 for a balance confirmation sent by email.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$100 one-time activation fee upon registration of a new user. This amount will appear on the first statement of account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-heading\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-h5\">Billing<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"item wysiwyg component-list\"  ><div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Billing is issued <strong>monthly<\/strong>. A statement of account is sent by email at the beginning of each month.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The statement of account is not available on the online platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payment must be made no later than the due date indicated. Please allow 2 to 4 days for payment processing (postal and electronic delays).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"component-block-important-infos\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"block-important-infos__wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"block-important-infos\">\n\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"block-important-infos__note\">For Notaries<\/h3>\n\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"wysiwyg\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The school taxation period extends from July 1 to June 30 of each year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the time of signing the notarial deed, <\/span><b>please provide the school tax bill to the new owner<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, as no additional copy will be issued.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the event of an <\/span><b>overpayment<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, please notify the CGTSIM by email at <\/span><a href=\"mailto:taxe.encaisse@cgtsim.qc.ca\"><strong>taxe.encaisse@cgtsim.qc.ca<\/strong><\/a>,<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0specifying to whom the amount should be returned (buyer or
